Sture Linner has died
It is with some sadness I read that Sture Linner has died at the age of 92. Linner was a professor of the Greek language and Greek literature. In fact it was he who made me read the books The golden lyre, and Homer with great interest.
Before he died he managed to keep a copy of While with Sture Linner in the hand, a book due out in autumn and that he felt proud and happy. Somehow it feels comforting that he felt happy all the way to the bitter end.
