Peter Robinson aktuell med den 19:e boken om Alan Banks

Den femte augusti släpper Peter Robinson den 19:e boken med Alan Banks i huvudrollen.

Uppenbarligen dröjde det länge innan Sverige fick upp ögonen för denna brittiska författare som numera är bosatt i Kanada. Den första boken i svensk översättning En ovanligt torr sommar kom nämligen inte förrän 2001, men Peter Robinson skrev den första boken om Alan Banks – Gallow View – redan 1987. Detta innebär, mina vänner, att vi har blivit "snuvade" på inte mindre än nio (!) böcker om den, i alla fall i mitt tycke, sympatiske polismannen vars oro för sina barn ständigt är närvarande. Och hans oro verkar vara väl så befogad i Bad Boy:

Peter Robinson har alltid tillhört en av mina favoriter men jag blev oerhört besviken på Mörkrets alla färger som inte fick mer än en etta i betyg av mig. Då jag är en förlåtande person så tänker jag inte låta ett misstag ligga honom till last utan jag kommer att fortsätta att läsa hans böcker. Och handlingen i Bad Boy låter onekligen lovande. Eller vad säger ni?
